The Home Buying Process

Complete a mortgage application and get pre-qualified.

Work with a realtor to get a contract on a home.

Sign initial loan disclosures and provide required documentation for the loan process.

Order appraisal.

Send file to underwriting to verify income, assets, debt, credit, and property details for conditional approval.

Gather additional items needed for final approval: appraisal, survey, additional bank statements, etc.

Receive final approval.

Lender works with title agent/attorney to get the final approved closing statement.

Today is the day you get the keys to your new home! You will provide your final funds to the title company and sign a LOT of closing disclosures.
