Chris DoeringBranch Manager & Loan Originator
Chris Doering is a lifelong Gator, having grown up in Gainesville, Florida as the son of a University of Florida professor. Chris was a standout scholar and exceptional athlete at Gainesville’s P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School. He graduated in the top ten percent of his class and earned all-state honors in football, basketball, and baseball. When his Blue Wave basketball team captured the state title, he was awarded the MVP of the Class 2A basketball tournament.
To top off the glory of his high school days, Doering’s lifelong dream was to play wide receiver for the Florida Gators, but his chances seemed discouraging after graduation. Initially, the Florida coaches decided against granting him with a scholarship and instead offered him preferred walk-on status. Undeterred, Chris committed to the team with hard work and perseverance, and eventually, he not only earned a scholarship but also went on to achieve one of the finest careers in the history of the University of Florida and the Southeastern Conference.
Following his collegiate career, Chris battled through ten years of ups and downs in the NFL, where he played for five teams during that time. Since his retirement from the NFL in 2005, Doering has returned to his hometown of Gainesville, where he lives with his two kids, Taylor and Tyson. In addition to owning the mortgage company, Chris is very active throughout the Gainesville community with his work with many charitable organizations. Doering is also utilizing his degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida in his role as a college football analyst for television broadcasts of SEC football with ESPN.
Chris prides himself on being very involved with staff and clients and draws his greatest satisfaction from providing the best solutions for clients while cultivating a successful and enjoyable working atmosphere for his team.
Judd DavisBranch Manager (Ocala Market) & Loan Originator
Judd joined the growing team in 2015 as a Loan Originator, specializing in the Ocala area market. Professionally Judd spent five years as the Vice President of Construction and Business Development for a national hotel renovation company based out of Ocala and prior to that served as a Commercial Loan Officer at an Ocala area bank. Judd will be an active member of the Ocala Marion County Association of Realtors, as well as, the Marion County Builder’s Association.
Judd is an Ocala native and graduate of Forest High School. He attended the University of Florida and was the teammate of Chris Doering and starting placekicker for the Gator Football team from 1992-94. To his credit, Judd earned NCAA 1st Team All-American honors and also won the Lou Groza National Placekicker of the Year Award in 1993. He was later inducted into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011.
Sheila TeckenbrockLoan Originator Assistant
Sheila was born in Hialeah, FL, and raised in North Central Florida. She started her career in the industry in 2006 as a Loan Originator for a small mortgage office in High Springs, FL. She then transitioned to a Loan Processor and Production Assistant/ Loan Coordinator. Sheila joined the team at Chris Doering Mortgage in August of 2013 as a Production Assistant/Loan Coordinator. She says she loves helping people and feels that it is a way to pass on the help she has received throughout her life.
Sheila is married to Duane, and they have six children and four grandchildren. She spends almost all of her spare time with her family and says that creating memories is the most important thing we can give our children and families in their lives, next to teaching them the about God and His love for us.
John ConnellLoan Originator
John serves as a Loan Facilitator and has over 10 years of experience in the finance industry which helps him to advise and guide clients in making the best decision for their given situation.
John was born and raised in the Gainesville/Ocala area. He played football at a college in Wisconsin, then finished up his Bachelor’s degree from Clearwater Christian College. John is an active member of the Builder’s Association of North Central Florida and the Gainesville-Alachua County Association of Realtors.
John is married to his wife Carrie who serves in the National Guard. They have a daughter named Presley, a yellow lab named Champ and enjoying playing sports, exercising, outdoor activities, and going to sporting events.
Jeff WolfeLoan Officer
Jeff was born in Zanesville, Ohio, and raised in Rochelle, Illinois, a small farming community just 90 miles west of Chicago. He attended Kishwaukee College and moved to Gainesville in 1985. Jeff has one daughter, Jennifer, who is raising his three grandsons, Luke, Caden, and Dylan with her husband Ben, in Rochelle, Illinois.
Jeff has been licensed in real estate since 1998 and obtained his mortgage broker license in 2000. His experience and knowledge from both of these aspects help him better assist clients by providing them with a complete understanding of the sales process and a smoother process by eliminating the guesswork. He joined the team at Chris Doering Mortgage in 2011.
Jeff and his wife of 14 years, now live just off the beach in New Port Richey, FL., where he continues to originate loans with Chris Doering Mortgage. Being only a couple hours from Gainesville, Jeff still serves his Alachua County clients, as well as Pasco County and the beautiful Treasure Island/Sunset Beach/St. Pete Beach areas. He prides himself on providing the best mortgage solution for clients whether it’s a first home, investment properties or refinance.
Kristen LittleLoan Originator & Assistant to Chris Doering
Kristen was born and raised in North Florida and has been a Gator since birth. She graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Eastside High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Kristen has been part of the Chris Doering Mortgage team since February 2008. She’s excited about her future with the company as it has experienced tremendous growth, and is focused on continuing to develop professionally.
Kristen currently lives in Alachua, FL with her husband, Jason, and son, Rhett. Together, they enjoy visiting the nearby springs, attending Atlanta Braves baseball games, and visiting new places in the Southeast. Kristen is also an avid reader and a patron of the arts.
Nadine LandryLoan Processor
Nadine Landry joined the Chris Doering Mortgage team in December 2013 as a mortgage Loan Processor. She brings over 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry as a mortgage underwriter, processor, closer and builder finance processor. Nadine enjoys helping clients achieve the goal of home ownership.
Nadine has been a resident of the Gainesville area for 13 years. She was born and raised on the Westbank of New Orleans.
Daphne DampierLoan Processing Manager
Daphne began her career as a Loan Processor when the doors first opened at Chris Doering Mortgage in March of 2007. She said she feels blessed to be part of such a strong and compassionate group of people.
Daphne lives in Gainesville and has two children, Chelsea and Chase. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, writing and playing the piano. She finds time almost daily to unwind by playing a few songs. Daphne said she is thankful for the gift of music and loves sharing it with others as well.
Jennifer DoeringLoan Originator
Jennifer is a Gainesville native and graduate of PK Yonge. She graduated from the University of Florida before moving to South Florida to pursue her real estate career and holds licenses as both a Real Estate Sales Associate and Real Estate Broker.
Jennifer brings more than 10 years of experience in the real estate industry in many facets, ranging from general real estate to working for well known developers, GL Homes and Lennar to Commercial Real Estate. Most recently Jennifer worked as a Leasing Associate for Stiles Corporation, which is based in South Florida. In her tenure with Stiles, Jennifer represented global real estate investment giant, Guggenheim Partners, to lease a high profile office building in Miami’s Downtown epicenter, Brickell Avenue.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball and running. She has also been active in the community, participating in The United Way and The Beacon Council of Miami.
Chris MoebusSales Manager & Loan Originator
Chris was born and raised in Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Business Administration and minor in International Economics. Chris has been in the mortgage industry since then, over 15 years, specializing in Agency, VA, FHA and Jumbo loans.
He maintains a keen focus on product and continues to improve his knowledge of the mortgage business with the ultimate goal of putting his customers in the right loan for their given situation. Chris is dedicated to making the challenging yet exciting process of getting a mortgage easier for Chris Doering Mortgage customers.
Chris has been married to his wife Holly since 2003 and they have two active young boys, Vance and Tanner. He and his family enjoy being on their boat as much as they can and as an avid saltwater fisherman, Chris loves to share that passion with friends and family. He also enjoys playing golf when he can!
Terry PowellLoan Processor
Terry is originally from Michigan, and relocated to South Florida in 1974. She now lives the quiet life with her husband in Gilchrist County on a small 20 acre farm with her six horses, three dogs, and a few chickens.
Terry worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Assistant City Manager for Management and Budget for the City of Hollywood Florida for 12 years before moving to North Florida. She then transitioned to the loan processor for Drummond Community Bank in Chiefland, Florida for five years before moving over to the Broker side of the mortgage business. Terry worked for a short time for a Title Company to acquire an understanding of the title business as well.
Terry has been with Chris Doering Mortgage since March 2016 as a Loan Processor, and feels that knowing she is helping families obtain the home of their dreams brings her tremendous satisfaction.
Kaitlynne MelvinLoan Originator Assistant
Kaitlynne is an Ocala native and graduated from Forest High School. She has been in the
mortgage industry since 2016 and joins the Doering team as a loan assistant. She
aspires to become a loan officer in the near future and loves helping others achieve their life
long goals of becoming homeowners.
Kaitlynne has been married to her husband Tyler since 2017 and they cherish their dog named Diesel. She enjoys fishing for Redfish, gator hunting and spending time with family.
Max GattoneLoan Originator Assistant
Max was born in New York and raised in North Central Florida. After graduating from Gainesville’s P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School, Max fulfilled his life-long dream of attending the University of Florida. He started his career in the mortgage business in an internship program during his senior year at UF. He then transitioned into a Loan Originator Assistant position at Chris Doering Mortgage in January of 2019.
As a Gator, Max understands the importance of building and keeping strong relationships, and that helping people to the best of his ability is not only a goal, but a necessity. Max enjoys everything health and fitness related, playing golf and other sports in his spare time, and most importantly, enjoying time with his friends and family.
