Chris Doering an Honorary Chair for Share the Cure 2013

Chris Doering sponsors Share the Cure 2013: House Raising, as honorary chair.

Chris Doering of Chris Doering Mortgage is proud to announce that he has been named as an honorary chair for Share the Cure 2013: House Raising. Doering is an active member in the Gainesville community, and has worked with many charitable organizations. Share the Cure 2013: House Raising is a fundraising event by the Keira Grace Foundation, which aims to help children with cancer in the Dominican Republic.

The event will be held on Feb. 16, 2013 at the Santa Fe College Fine Arts Hall, and will include cocktails, dinner, and a presentation of the house Share the Cure built for children undergoing treatment for cancer. At 9 p.m. there will be an after-party with Innovative Entertainment’s DJ Matt. Tickets can be purchased for $99 in advance online, or $110 for general admission.

Doering has visited the Share the Cure house with Keira Grace Foundation co-founder Dr. Michael Lauzardo, to check on the progress of the house. The Share the Cure House is a one-of-a-kind facility, as it specifically serves the needs of children receiving treatment and their families. Previously, there were no facilities with accommodations like these in the Dominican Republic.
