Hollace joined the Lowcountry Legacy team in 2024 as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer. With a career spanning financial institutions since 2014, lending since 2016, and mortgages since 2021, he brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams.
Born and raised in Durango, Mexico, Hollace moved to Kansas during his later childhood. He earned a BSA at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, where he met his wife, Tyler, while playing on the tennis team. In 2016, Hollace and Tyler relocated to Charleston, got married in 2018, and adopted two dogs. They have embraced the Lowcountry lifestyle and are deeply rooted in the community.
Hollace is passionate about supporting the Latin community, advocating for opportunities and resources that empower others to thrive. Outside of work, he enjoys talking sports (particularly football and baseball), frequent trips to Blowing Rock, NC, and cooking, with a special love for barbecue.
Orlando has called Charleston, SC home since 2017. He is originally from Boston, MA where he lived all his life until 2007 when he decided to make a move to Tokyo, Japan. Orlando lived in Asia for 6 years between Tokyo and Hong Kong, where he worked as an Asian Equities trader. Orlando made the transition from Banking and Information Technology to mortgages in 2020 and has not looked back since.
Orlando is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, but his best qualities are his compassion, patience, and genuine efforts to help his clients. He values making anyone he is helping a priority, which is what makes him the ideal person to work with when looking to purchase or refinance a home.
Cory lives in the Orlando area and operates the Orlando Branch of Chris Doering Mortgage. A mortgage and loan professional for 25 years, Cory earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University and moved to Florida soon after. He holds certifications in VA, FHA, and USDA Lending. Cory has the knowledge and experience to help you through the loan process, find the terms that are right for your budget, and make sure all the legalities are competently handled so your purchase is hassle free and worry free.

Josh Talmor joins the Chris Doering Mortgage team, as the youngest, most upbeat loan originator. Josh is a PK Yonge alumnus who continued his education with focus in Graphic Design and Multimedia and Digital Production. He has great B2B skills that stem from his charismatic energy. He joined the local BNI group in February 2023, and has since been promoted to their leadership committee.
Josh is a Gainesville native who enjoys the limitless bodies of local nature. He is a pizza enthusiast and believes that a plain cheese pizza slice will determine if a restaurant is good or not. Josh admits to being extremely nerdy and enjoys spending his spare time with friends playing competitive Warhammer. He is an avid animal lover who appreciates time with his dog, Sandy!
Stephen started the Charleston branch of Chris Doering Mortgage in 2023 as the Lowcountry Legacy Team. He has been in the financial industry since 2014 and has been a top producer and leader at every stop along his career. Stephen’s passion is helping people financially and taking the extra steps to help buyers get ready to buy their first home. He is also a real estate investor and can provide knowledge and insight into all aspects of real estate investing.
Stephen is a Charleston native, born and raised in Hanahan. He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. He is married to his beautiful wife, Gisela, and has 3 wonderful children: Nathaniel, David, and Camila. He is a sports fanatic, and if he isn’t working, he is watching or going to games any chance he gets.
Lacey was born and raised right here in Gainesville, FL, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Jay Wheeler. Together have a new son named Noah. Growing up, she was a gymnast, track and field competitor, and volleyball player. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the guitar and piano, along with spending time with her pets and painting. Lacey graduated locally top of her class from Buchholz High School in 2018. In 2021 Lacey graduated with honors from The University of Florida with her bachelor’s degree. Lacey retained her Real Estate license after buying her first home and has been working as Loan office Assistant in the mortgage industry since 2022. Lacey is technology savvy and such an asset to Chris Doering Mortgage and Team Home Sweet Home. She has always had a passion for helping others in the community; however, she has found that being able to help others obtain one of their most cherished possessions, their home, to be the greatest experience.
Kalan has been part of the Chris Doering Mortgage team since February 2021. She has exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail and is fluent in Spanish. She is excited about her future with the company and is focused on continuing to develop professionally.
She was born and raised in beautiful Gainesville, Florida and currently lives in Newberry with her 3 wonderful children and pitbull rescue. Together, they enjoy visiting nearby trails and parks, playing board games, and cooking meals together. Kalan is an avid DIY’er and has even renovated her own 1930s home before selling it.
Candi Curtis Mann joined the Chris Doering Mortgage team in 2020 and is a perfect fit with her strong Florida Gator ties. Candi was a cheerleader for the University of Florida Gators while Chris played football during the 90’s. Candi graduated in 1995 from UF with High Honors and moved back to Gainesville in 2000. She went on to be the Head Coach of the University of Florida Gator Cheerleaders from 2007-2014. Candi has 2 daughters, Sydney, who played Division I Volleyball and graduated from the University of South Florida, and Lacey, who followed in her mom’s footsteps and graduated from the University of Florida. Lacey is also now her assistant and teammate at Chris Doering Mortgage! Together they are Team Home Sweet Home.
Candi is very active in the Alachua County community and has had her real estate license for over 25 years. She is a VA Specialist and is licensed in both Florida and Georgia. Candi enjoys helping people with what is usually the biggest purchase of their lives. Her experience and many years in the industry gives her a better understanding of the process and helps her guide clients through each important step. Candi strives to be the best at everything she does and looks forward to helping you finance your Home Sweet Home!
Brian was born in Perth Amboy, NJ but spent most of his life in Florida. Brian grew up in the Daytona Beach area, graduated from UCF, and lived in Orlando until he moved to Gainesville in 2003. He has been in sales for 20 years and has earned high marks and recognition in production and customer satisfaction. He joins the Chris Doering Mortgage team as a Loan Officer.
Making sure customers are always informed and taken care of during and after the sale is of the utmost importance to Brian. It’s because of this philosophy that an industry that requires consumer satisfaction is a perfect fit for him.
In his spare time, Brian loves staying active by working out, playing golf and tennis, and having a good time with friends and family. He loves watching sports, going to the movies, and attending concerts. His favorite place in the world is Las Vegas, and he visits any time he gets the chance.
Terry is originally from Michigan and relocated to South Florida in 1974. She now lives the quiet life with her husband in Gilchrist County on a small 20-acre farm with her six horses, three dogs, and a few chickens.
Terry worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Assistant City Manager for Management and Budget for the City of Hollywood Florida for 12 years before moving to North Florida. She then transitioned to the role of loan processor of Drummond Community Bank in Chiefland, Florida for five years before moving over to the broker side of the mortgage business. Terry worked for a short time for a title company to acquire an understanding of the title business as well.
Terry has been with Chris Doering Mortgage since March 2016 as a Loan Processor and feels that knowing she is helping families obtain the home of their dreams brings her tremendous satisfaction.
